Poor Hez! Having to hide from you like that. You know, you made me buy the damn green set. EVIL! EVIL!!!

Amy

Good grief. I better get off the computer. I wondered why you'd even want to go near Jack London Square until I realized you didn't mean Jack the Ripper Square.

jodi

Such pretty jewelry! Sounds like you've been having fun. :)

kmkat

Cat? What cat? I see no cat.

Cookie

Tell her to keep hiding and you can make your own mojitos!

Love the goodies!

I hope you're out there making today/tonight count!

xo

Michelle

Are you on an etsy binge? Can I have some?

Elspeth

Love the necklace and matching stitch markers! What a great idea - I love to have my needles and yarn match, why not my accessories? !

Cheryl S.

Maroon?
LOL.

DH and I have just been trying to figure out how to spell asymmetry. Spell-check is a good thing. Especially after 2 bottles of wine.

The jewelry is great. The crown jewels first, then the castle, then the kingdom. One step at a time.

Jocelyn

I can't believe you blew Hez' cover like that! I love that necklace, and all of the goodies, and now I want to eat at that restaurant in the city, too. Alas that it is 500 miles away...

Angie

Beautiful jewelry...opal has the mad skillz.

It is good to be queen. :D Have a marvelous birthday, your majesty.

Mmmm. Now I know where you went but didn't find the good candy. :D I remember seeing that restaurant--I hope it was a yummy dinner.

Hez must be her majesty's spy.

Becky

Fun times in the city. Royally fun, huh? Hez does not seem to like the revelry or the royal party. Sounds like fun to me.

opal

look at hez all camouflaged. isn't she the sneaky one?

thanks for the blog feature! i'm so glad you like the bling. :)

and HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :D

Gale

Today, I think I want to hang with Hez.

joan

Happy Birthday!

Will you run out of yarn before you run out of beads?

xo

Bridget

Lovely post! Except for the part where you outed Hez - I hope she doesn't have to kill you now ...

melanie

Happy birthday!

deb

Don't you love Jess's bags? Um - Hez - I see you!

knitnana

Ohhh!!! You bought some of Opal's gorgeous jewelry!!!
Sooooooooooo pretty!
(((hugs)))

Lorraine

Carrie- I hope you get out there and wear that jewellery- that befits a Birthday Queen!

Guinifer

I just love the sound of a Mean Girls Yarn club - I must've missed the beginning of that one.

Literary Feline

That's a beautiful necklace and earring set, Carrie. And I can definitely see the appeal for a cinnamon roll getting a glimpse of that photo. :-) It sounds like you had a fun time in San Francisco with your visiting cousin.

I love to be bitten by the research bug when I am reading a book. I admit I cheat and often end up doing most of my research online--at least I often find titles of other books to read too, so it's not all the kind of research that would make my former professors cringe. :-)

Sonya

Happy birthday, Carrie! Gorgeous necklace and earrings. I hope you're having a fabu day.

I haven't cracked my 30 years book, but I'm getting through the Salem witch trials book that I checked out after I read The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane.

I can't wait to see your beading project. I might bop over to the bead store this weekend. How do you know what size to get?

bybee

Happy birthday...that necklace and earrings are beautiful. Cinnamon rolls..oh yes...

Miss T

Mean Girls Yarn. I like that. Why didn't I sign up?

Chris

Birthday?! Did I miss your birthday?! D'oh.

Bookfool, aka Nancy

Oh, oh, oh, I missed your birthday? I so sorry! Me feel bad. Think I'll scrounge around to see what I can dump on you, now. Seriously, I'm known for being such a little angel.

Brigitte

Well Lady, Hez called you a maroon! Whatcha gonna do about that?!

So, happy belated birthday! I was thinking of you, did you get my telepathic greetings?

*drool* cinnamon rolls...oh, I'm hungry now.

JessaLu

Yay! So glad you love it! :o))

A person in my knit group had to stuff a larger project into her bag and she put the folded pattern on top so when she zipped it, the paper was there, not the yahn. Maybe that would help?

Everything else looks awesome! I'm glad you had a great birthday! :o))

Julia

Wow, how did you manage to sneak two blog posts by me? Oh, 182 blog posts I haven't read yet on my blog reader - yeah, that would account for it. Love the name of that yarn - can't wait to see what a heartless tart looks like :-)

CarolyninAlaska

I had to look twice to find Hez... blends right in! Sounds like you had fun in SF.
Gorgeous jewelry... could be a "match" for Mary Tudor, but I guess it would look "too busy" unless you left her unbuttoned.

Rachel

You got some nice swag for your birthday! Funny shot of Hez...even more funny your commentary on that one. She blends in well!

silver bracelet
