Found at Knitting in the Shadows:

Yoda Yoda A venerated sage with vast power and knowledge, you gently guide forces around you while serving as a champion of the light. Judge me by my size, do you? And well you should not - for my ally is the Force. And a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us, and binds us. Luminescent beings are we, not this crude matter! You must feel the Force around you, everywhere. Yoda is a is a character in the Star Wars universe. More Yoda information is available at the Star Wars Databank.

Feather and Fan Shawl no longer. Frogged and is starting life over Blog pix 1001 as the Lacy kerchief Scarf.
(Ravelry link. Otherwise found in Interweave Knits Summer 2005 or Holiday 2006. Since it's for me, it's started life very slowly. I have startitis. It had to be done.

I'd actually forgotten about shawl totally though, I found it while tossing my stash for some short circs.

Holiday gift knitting continues VERY, VERY slowly. Nothing like giving myself a deadline to kill all interest in knitting something.

Mindless public knitting is going gangbusters though.

What my blog name says about me, according to Typealyzer:

ESFP - The Performers

The entertaining and friendly type. They are especially attuned to pleasure and beauty and like to fill their surroundings with soft fabrics, bright colors and sweet smells. They live in the present moment and don´t like to plan ahead - they are always in risk of exhausting themselves.

The enjoy work that makes them able to help other people in a concrete and visible way. They tend to avoid conflicts and rarely initiate confrontation - qualities that can make it hard for them in management positions.
Oh absolutely. I'm always at risk of exhausting myself. Avoiding conflicts. Yes, that's exactly right. When I'm not gently guiding the force and serving as a champion of the light.
Speaking of mindless public knitting, I needed a smaller (more discreet) project to knit at a function than the Curve of Pursuit was getting to be (BIG), so I pulled out the Veronica yarn from Dizzy Blonde Studios and started (again) The Basic Black Shawl from Cheryl Oberle's Folk Shawls. This is my approximately 18th thousand attempt at this shawl, for some reason, the yarn is either too thick, too thin, too ......something. Hopefully Veronica is just right. Blog pix 1008 She certainly was just right to fit in my purse and get toted along all day. The picture doesn't do much justice to the pattern but it does display the colors pretty well.
TV has been a vast disappointment to me lately. Now that I know My Own Worst Enemy has been cancelled, I can't bring myself to stay up and watch the last few episodes. On the Sarah Connor Chronicles, Jon Connor continues to be a doofus and evidently no one around him is actually from his own time or human. How bad is it when I just can't wait for the machines to rise and take them all out?
Heroes is confusing. Am I to understand correctly that they intend on bringing more new people in next year?
What's good........well, NCIS, of course. I still like The Mentalist even though the plot leaps were fairly enormous last night. Bones tonight on Fox, Life at 9pm oon NBC and the season finale of Sons of Anarchy tonight (Wednesday 11/26)at 10pm.
24 on Fox sunday - athough doofus that I am, I missed the beginning episode. Luckily, it's showing online. But mostly I've been reading. It's that time of year!
Your Hair Should Be White
Classy, stylish, and eloquent.
You've got a way about you that floors everyone you meet.

Does this look comfy? It's Hez's new sleeping spot (when she's not suffocating me or rendering me incapable of using my legs).

Hez sez, "Phhttt. Happy Thanksgiving! And Happy Thursday to those not granted a day off of feasting (or who've already had it)."

Comments

Bookfool, aka Nancy

Happy Thanksgiving, Carrie and Hez! :)

Chris

Hmm. I got the same "Typealyzer" result you did. Which suggests that my usual INTJ self is maybe not in evidence on my blog, eh?

Have a lovely day tomorrow!

Cookie

I wonder if this will work...

What did you think about NCIS? I think you may be right about Ziva, btw.

Since The Mentalist was allegedly in my own backyard last night, I was too distracted by their fake towns to notice the holes in the plot. Well... mostly...

White hair? Really? Does that go with the Yoda green skin? I think not.

xo

Carrie K. (the other one)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Kim DeMille

I'm apparently a redhead! Not too surprizing. I'm rather outgoing and occasionally obnoxious - but I'm British (well, at least still for the moment) so that's part of the territory. I wonder what Hez' secret hair color is?

Have you been watching the PBS documentary on the Royals, rather interesting watching, and then there's Top Chef, and House???!!!! But I agree, TV is rather poor at the moment.

Elspeth

Yeah, I'm staying up late for SOA tonight too! The Shield series finale was pretty good - my favorite was Mackey's "punishment" - a desk job! "I don't do desks," he says. I don't know what TV I'll be watching after tonight!

Charity

Yeah, TV's been pretty disappointing in my world, too. I'd never watched Lost before, and our Space channel is airing it 4 nights a week, so I'm getting all caught up. :0)

Isn't it amazing how we can totally forget about a project we've started?

Stacey

Still waiting for your sexual style. *ahem* :D Happy Thursday!

Bridget

Happy Thanksgiving to you and Hez!

Kim

I don't know. . . Can't picture Master Yoda leaning against a bar with a drink in his hand.

Rhelynn

Happy Thanksgiving! My hair color should be orange: 'You pull off weird well, hardly anyone notices.' Wow, I think they hit the nail on the head ;)

Although I'm not sure orange would work on me - mahogany maybe, orange or purple shade... something to think about!

Angie

Pink hair, here. Heh.

Happy Thanksgiving, Carrie and Hez. Hez knows the correct use for that item.

Brigitte

Hey! Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving!

Wow, 18000th time, huh? Sounds like me and Rogue, or Elizabeth I.

Atticus and Gandalf are afraid of the steam coming out of the iron. Like, hissy fit afraid. Boys...

ShadowDancer

According to the quizthings in the blogiverse, we should both be sporting white hair, and our blogs are both ESFP.

I knew I liked you... but how did the quizthings figure that out??

Geraldine

Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving Carrie. You too Hez. Where there some special treats to enjoy in addition to the usual feline fare? The kitties here have never been happy about the No Turkey policy.

Big hugs, G

Birdsong

The kerchief is a wonderful, fun pattern. Hez does look happy:)

Sonya

Hope you and Hez had a great Thanksgiving. I hate it when the right project and yarn just do not come together. I'm bored with everything on TV except Sons of Anarchy. Which I'm mildly obsessed with.

Now Hez knows how to use an ironing board!

crzjane

Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving.
Looks like Hez found the perfect spot.
That is going to be a very pretty shawl. The color is beautiful.

Heather

Happy thanksgiving!

Lorraine

Carrie- It says my hair should be orange- Ronald McDonald syndrome.

I love the yarn for the shawl. Hez will probably get alot of use out of that.

Holly

Thanks for your nice post on the blog! Now I'm jealous--I haven't picked up the needles in months. So much yarn sitting there, staring at me. I haven't even started my mindless Christmas scarves. Your work is beautiful!

Cats! What a place to sleep. How can that be comfortable?

pixie.girl

Did Hez get any treats? Don't you love how when you wake up, you've been repositioned by your feline buddies? Lily likes me to lie on my side, so she can perch ON my side and shoulder to sleep, thus rendering me completely incapable of movement. Gotta go take those quizzes. Wonder what my hair will be.

pixie.girl

For me, ironing means I haven't used my dryer or clothesline properly :)!

I know this feeling trying to get Christmas gifts knit in time to send off.Hugs Darcy

I am so behind on Heroes. I think my husband's lost interest in the show and so we haven't been keeping up as much in watching it. I've finally decided I may end up just waiting for the season to come out on DVD and watching it that way. It hasn't been the best TV season for network television. I've been following a couple of favorites and one my husband likes, but I could stop watching any of them today and probably not miss them at all. Now there's talk of another actor's strike. I wonder if that would result in an even bigger drop in ratings.

Hez looks very comfy in her new sleeping spot! :-)

CarolyninAlaska

My blog choice of names got me the same results as you got: What my blog name says about me, according to Typealyzer:
ESFP - The Performers

Is there really more than one result I wonder?

I haven't even watched Heroes lately. I can't figure out where it's going.
