Unmade bed cover Bridget at The Ravell'd Sleave picked up today's Booking Through Thursday and I had to try it myself. First fifteen, off the top of my head:

Why do none of those have an "all of the above"? I could see all of 5 being correct... I mean I'm sure of it. :D

Jodi

What a hoot! I especially like the bit about having

a. a stash (of yarn) that you would just die if you saw
b. a library that will one day topple and crush me

My answer: both A and B

Chris

Hmm. I suspect you read my comment on Bridget's blog for some reason. ;)

And for sure a and b on #5 are correct. :)

Bridget

Hmmm, your q & a list was interesting. I think I know some of the answers ...

Wasn't the BTT list fun? Of course, then I kept thinking of other books I could have/should have listed - good thing we weren't supposed to do it in a leisurely fashion!

Amy

Can't speak for your part of the world, but it's not uncommon here to have 30-degree temp changes within 24 hours. Sadly.

Angie

The Little Princess is also on my never forget list. I think I know a few answers but the rest are mysteries, though the answers are funny.

Have you read The Strange Files of Fremont Jones by Dianne Day yet? I just finished it and it is set in SF.

Elspeth

I was going to say this was a "pick c" questionnaire, but then I got to Burn Notice! I taped Royal Pains last night but haven't seen it yet.

kmkat

What does it say about the world today that I read 9.c. as "waterboarding" instead of "skateboarding"? sheesh.

A friend of mine took a graduate seminar from Elie Wiesel. After one session he was flying somewhere, and she gave him Bimbos of the Death Star to read on the place because the mental image of Elie Wiesel reading BotDS cracked her up.

Julia

I don't know what to say. My mind started boggling at "lima beans" and completely shut down at "Bimbos".

Cookie

Do I know you?

Nora

I can't wait to see Cookie's quiz. And the temp frequently swings 30 degrees plus in a day here in The Land of Cheese. That, and the fried things on sticks, should get you here quick.

Jeanne

Burn Notice? Really? I haven't seen season 2 yet.

Jocelyn

I do think some of those are trick questions with multiple right answers... ;)

opal

Ok.. here i go.

1. C
2. no clue.
3. no idea.
4. A
5. A, B, D :-P
6. A
7. A
8. B
9. D
10. B

so how'd i do?

Kim

Where/How do you Readers find these books? I suppose if I read more novels, I'd find these treasure troves, too.

Becky

I need to check out some of the books you listed. I love that Harriet the Spy is on there. :)

Brigitte

OK, you sure is edumacated all right!

I'm pretty sure you were raised in Swift Current, SK, and are an avid skateboarder. And as for wandering aimlessly through the mall (in a daze), well, I do that to.

Rebekah

One day last year we had a 70 degree swing in one day, it was 80 degrees in the morning, and by the time we left work it was 30, and that night it got down to 10. It was insane!

Bookfool, aka Nancy

I didn't even think of The Little Princess and I was going to name a daughter Sarah, if I had one (because of the book). My 15 were:

Rebecca - Daphne DuMaurier
The Book Thief - Marcus Zusak
The Secret Lives of People in Love - Simon Van Booy
The Count of Monte Cristo - Alexandre Dumas
Desiree - AnneMarie Selinko
Tomorrow, When the War Began - John Marsden
Biography - Benvenuto Cellini
The Cay - Theodore Taylor
Stand Before Your God - Paul Watkins
Pride & Prejudice - Jane Austin
About Time - Jack Finney
The Time-Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger
1984 - George Orwell
The Maltese Falcon - Dashiell Hammett
A Wrinkle in Time - Madeleine L'Engle

I didn't bother posting, though.

Stefanie

Here's my try:

1. c
2. a
3. I want to guess Justin Timberlake but it's probably c
4. b
5. a
6. b
7. c?
8. b
9. d
10. Uhh, c?

Geraldine

No, the weather should NOT veer 30 degrees in a single day. Scary stuff...

Hugs to you and Hez. How is the ole'furball today? Mr. C and Ms. M send their best headbonks. ;<)

Geraldine

PS: I meant "ole furball" in the nicest possible way. No offence intended. Hez is neither old or a furball. LOL.

OK, Mr. C made me write this...

Lorraine

Carrie- Everybody knows Timmie Rooch. Yeesh!

Miss T

A 30 degree swing in one day is a clear indication that one is in Minnesota.
